Dedicated boat for cruise ship days

Our usual morning double dive trips leave our shop between 8 and 8:30am. As most cruise ships that come to Port Vila for the day, dock at 8am it makes it a bit too tight for passengers to get to our shop in time for these early morning trips. But we have a solution! As we have 4 small boats, we have the flexibility to dedicate a boat to passengers from the ship. You can book this boat and either keep it all to yourselves or find others on your cruise to fill the seats.

How it works

• One person is responsible to booking and paying for the boat on line at least 48 hours before the ship docks
• They can then fill the seats on the boat as they like
• Small groups are guaranteed. Our boats can take either take up to 4 or 6 divers. The boat price includes 4 divers. If you have five or six divers please add the extra one or two to you order as “extra divers”.
• You will need to make your own way from the ship to the Big Blue shop on the seafront when you arrive in Port Vila. Please note all cruise ship passengers disembark at the wharf whether your ship is at anchor or wharfside.  Transport from the wharf is reserved for local transport operators and we cannot pick up from the wharf. A water taxi is often the easiest way to skip across the harbour to the seafront.
• You can arrive any time between 8:30 and 10:30am and have time for 2 dives before heading back to the ship by 2:30pm.
• We allocate a dive guide that is either a PADI Divemaster or Instructor to each boat so there is someone to show you the best of our dive sites.
• Refreshments of fresh fruit and locally made cookies are offered at the surface interval
• The price includes gear hire.
